"Intro to Ethics and Social Justice" (Originally aired 2/9/2012 on 90.1 WRPN FM)
Lindsay Blumer, the director of the Office of Community Engagement and of the Ethical Leadership Program at Ripon College, explains the difference between ethics and social justice, what the terms mean, and how they relate to our community. Social justice issues related to the Ripon Food Pantry and "having enough for all, forever" are also discussed.

“Ethics:” What’s it all about? Sophia Kaounas, a sophomore and intern with the Ethical Leadership Program at Ripon College, shares about ethical decision making and her experiences in the ELP. Topics covered include the Ethical Leadership Program's involvement in the Ethics Bowl and the importance of activities such as the Ethics Bowl; what exactly is ethical decision making and what are the ethical implications that follow?

"Prison Reform" (Originally aired 3/8/2012 on 90.1 WRPN FM)
Issues of illiteracy, poverty, and incarceration rates are inter-related; Ripon College Professor Joe Hatcher and senior and OCE intern Casey Riesing discuss prison reform in area correctional facilities and the implications this type of education has on the inmates, volunteers, and the community and society as a whole.

"Ripon Aktion Club" (Originally aired 3/22/2012 on 90.1 WRPN FM)
Aktion Club is organization of Kiwanis International that provides service opportunities for adults living with disabilities. The only club of its type, Aktion Club allows members to develop initiative and leadership skills in serving their communities while becoming fully involved and assimilated into society. Sue Meyer and Helga Rikkers (both advisors to the Ripon Aktion Club) share their experiences about working with the adults and about the opportunities and social justice endeavors related to this club.

"IMPACT Conference" (Originally aired 4/5/2012 on 90.1 WRPN FM)
A conference focused on the civic engagement of college students in community service, service-learning, community-based research, advocacy and other forms of social action, the Impact conference truly made an “impact” on three Ripon College students who had the opportunity to represent the Office of Community Engagement in Florida from March 30-April 1. Dulce Andrade, Sophia Kaounas, and Katrina Schauland share their experiences about various social justices and ethics related topics discussed at the conference.

"Dr. Messitte Talks Service" (Originally aired 4/19/12 on 90.1 WRPN FM) 
Ripon College’s President-Elect Dr. Zach Messitte shares his thoughts on service, social justice, and servant leadership and their role at Ripon College. Dr. Messitte looks forward to working with the people of Ripon in order to move the college and community forward:  "...I plan to be in the trenches on these issues. I plan to roll up my sleeves and be a part of whatever it is that the student body decides is going to be their issues that semester or year or multiple years. . . . If people see that the President is engaged at the ground level, it’s not just making the salutary speech and then moving on but is actually involved, that sends a really powerful message, that there is no contribution that’s too small.”
